Xspswap: XSwap V3 Versus Deprecated V2
XSwap Protocol lists distinct V3 and V2 trading, farming, and analytics interfaces for its XRC20 exchange ecosystem on the XDC Network. It marks the V2 ecosystem deprecated, while its documented launchpad integration adds liquidity automatically only to V2 pairs.
Versioned Interfaces
| Function | V3 | V2 (Deprecated) |
|---|---|---|
| Trading | V3 DEX app. | Separate V2 DEX interface. |
| Analytics | Analytics entry associated with the V3 ecosystem. | Separate analytics entry associated with V2. |
| Farming | Farming section within the V3 DEX app. | Separate platform grouped as farming and staking. |
| Automatic launchpad liquidity | Outside the documented V2-only integration. | V2 pairs are the documented destination for automatic liquidity addition. |
The deprecated designation covers the listed V2 DEX, analytics, and farming and staking ecosystem. The label alone does not establish a shutdown date or whether an individual V2 pool remains operational.
Farming Instructions and Reward Tokens
The V2 swap guide describes farming as locking liquidity pool (LP) tokens in a smart contract to earn XTT. Those instructions have a specific V2 scope; they do not establish the farming mechanics or reward asset for a V3 pool.
XSwap Protocol's April 21, 2025 token-merger announcement stated that, following the launch of the V3 DEX and new farming pools, rewards were being distributed in XSP and other project tokens. This dated statement explains why an older XTT farming description and a later XSP rewards description can concern different product contexts.
The same announcement proposed merging XTT into XSP. It does not establish that V2 liquidity positions were converted into V3 positions. DEX version, pool position, and reward token remain separate distinctions when interpreting a legacy farming guide.
A Hypothetical Launchpad Version Comparison
A hypothetical project requires automatic launchpad liquidity and is comparing V2 with V3 as its intended trading venue.
XSwap Protocol documents automatic launchpad liquidity addition only to V2 pairs. If the hypothetical project requires that liquidity to arrive in the V3 venue it intends to use for trading, the documented integration leaves that requirement unmet.
Changing the hypothetical requirement to a V2 destination resolves this version mismatch under the documented integration. V2 still has deprecated status, and this compatibility comparison does not confirm that a particular launch can currently execute.
